Safety
Nissan’s concept of "the vehicle that helps protect people." In the area of safety technology, Nissan pursues innovation as part of its "Safety Shield" concept, an advanced, proactive approach to safety issues based on the idea that cars should help protect people. This approach provides various measures to help the driver and passengers better avoid dangers in ways that are optimized to each of a wide range of circumstances that the vehicle may be in, from "risk has not yet appeared" to "post-crash".
Environment
Nissan’s environmental philosophy can be described as, "a symbiosis of people, vehicles and nature." It is our ideal for a sustainable mobile society now and our goal for the future. We launched the Nissan Green Program 2010 with specific objectives to realize the goal, and we are diligently making concerted efforts to reduce environmental impact at every stage of the vehicle life cycle and our corporate activities.
Quality
To provide each of our customers with a consistently high level of quality, we apply the same high quality standards worldwide—ensuring that all Nissan owners enjoy peace of mind for the lives of their vehicles.
Xenon headlamps
High- and low-beam, High-Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-functional Xenon projector headlamps provide intense long-range illumination and optimum visibility in all weather conditions.
Rearview monitor
Gives the driver a clear view of the rear area for parking and backing up. When in reverse, the camera view corresponding to the steering direction automatically appears in the monitor.
Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD)
Contributes to safe driving by enhancing braking control to optimize braking performance with loads of various weights.
Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)
VDC automatically controls brake and engine output to enhance stability when sensors detect that the vehicle may slip sideways due to steering, braking or accelerator pedal operation.
Dual front, side and curtain SRS airbags
The SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) includes dual front, side and curtain airbags that reduce the risk of injury resulting from impacts of various angles
Active head restraints
Support the head by moving forward in the event of a collision.
Zone Body construction with pedestrian-injury reduction
Enhances cabin safety and mitigates impact to the heads and chests of pedestrians.
